Your claim and your answers
Your claim, your wizard answers, and your pasted evidence are held in your browser's session storage so you can move backward and forward without losing work. Closing the tab ends the session. No account is created and no public share link containing your assessment is ever generated.
Uploaded documents
PDF, DOCX, and TXT files up to 10 MB are accepted. They are stored privately, never in a public bucket, and never exposed through a report URL. Extraction happens on the server. Transient source documents are deleted after 7 days.
Submitted webpages
Only public http and https URLs are accepted. Private, loopback, link-local, credential-bearing, and internal network addresses are blocked to prevent server-side request forgery. The readable content of the page is extracted server-side and treated as source material — never as instructions to the analysis.
Contact details
You only see a contact form after your report is on screen, and only if you choose to fill it in. We store your email, name, company, role, website, and the report summary (score, band, and claim text) so we can follow up. Consent to receive future ShyParade marketing is separate and unchecked by default: requesting the report does not enrol you in marketing email.
Analytics
Analytics events are consent-aware and carry only assessment depth, broad claim category, and score band. Your claim text, evidence, uploaded content, and email address are never sent to an analytics platform.
Sensitive information
Please do not submit sensitive personal information. This tool is designed for marketing claims and their supporting evidence.
